Data & residency

The precise claim​

All intermediary compute, logs, caches, tokens, and secrets of the AI Gurus Group service reside in the United Kingdom (Azure UK South). The service stores no accounting data at rest.

We word this carefully so it is accurate:

  • What is UK-resident: our gateways, their logs, and your stored credentials and tokens — all in Azure UK South.
  • What is not ours to place: your accounting platform (QuickBooks Online or Xero) is hosted by that provider, wherever their tenancy for your company sits. We do not move it.
  • Your AI assistant: when you ask a question, the answer flows into your AI assistant (for example, Claude), which runs on that assistant provider's own infrastructure under their data terms. That is outside our service, and it is not necessarily UK-hosted.

What this means in practice​

No intermediary copy of your data, and none of your credentials, ever leaves the UK within our service. Your credentials are encrypted at rest in UK-hosted Key Vault and are never shown to your AI assistant.
