How it works
Each AI Gurus Group connector is a gateway between your AI assistant and your accounting platform. It does three jobs:
- Speaks the AI-assistant protocol. Your assistant connects to the gateway over a standard, authenticated channel (the Model Context Protocol, over HTTPS).
- Handles sign-in on your behalf. When you connect, the gateway sends you through your provider's own OAuth login and consent, then securely holds the resulting access on your behalf — encrypted, in the UK.
- Relays your questions. When you ask something, the gateway calls your accounting platform, gets the answer, and returns it to your assistant. It stores no accounting data itself.
Per-user isolation
Every connection runs in its own isolated session, scoped to exactly one user and one company/organisation. One person's connection can never see another's data, and one connection is bound to a single company — so multiple connections stay cleanly separated.
Stateless conduit
The gateway keeps no copy of your accounting data. It reads what you ask for, passes it through, and forgets it. The system of record remains your accounting platform.
